DEAR EDITOR:

This is to publicly express my sincere appreciation and gratitude for Master Gardener Pat Fuller and Trumbull 100 for their significant contribution to our downtown.

Early every summer Pat Fuller displays her floral arrangements around the city’s Courthouse Square, the historical district, city hall and Packard Park.

What a wonderful floral display our citizens and visitors enjoy as a result of the dedication to beautification of our community.

There isn’t a week that goes by in the summer that my office doesn’t receive several “thank yous” for the spectacular display of bursting pink floral arrangements! And this year may be the best display ever. If you happen to see Pat Fuller downtown watering the flower baskets or any member of Trumbull 100, please take the time to share your appreciation.

It is efforts and partnerships like these that make me proud to serve as mayor of Warren.
