The City of Warren would like to welcome its newest firefighters:  Cody Dennis, Jacob Stroller, and Noah Denzer.

 

The Warren City Health District is getting a Mobile Unit to go into the Neighborhoods and do health screenings and offer resources.  We want the community's help in deciding what slogan / catchphrase to put on the unit. A Traffic Commission meeting will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, September 19, 2022.

The meeting will take place at Warren City Council Chambers, 141 S South St. S.E., Warren, Ohio.

   •No Parking signs on Southwest Blvd to accommodate WRTA bus service

   •No Parking signs on the corners of Lane Dr. and Martin Street & Martin St. and Valley Street

   •No Parking signs on the southern side of Maple Street SW

There will be a Records Commission Meeting on Monday, September 12th, 2022 at 11:00 am.

It will be held at the Warren City Law Department, 391 Mahoning Ave NW, Warren, OH 44483.

City Wide Cleanup Day In Warren

Warren, OH., Sept. 4, 2022

Pride & Joy Today LLC., under the leadership of Sheree Glover, will sponsor a city wide clean up Saturday, September 10, 2022. The cleanup takes place, 10 AM to 2 PM at three city locations. With the assistance of Warren City Councilpersons, Ron White, Ken Macpherson, Todd Johnson, and Cheryl Saffold, three workstation locations have been established. The Southwest location is the Sunoco Gas Station, 805 W. Market St., the Northwest location is the Fastlane Food Store located at 2650 W. Market St., and the Southeast location is the Focus Center located at 2051 Niles Rd. Volunteers are still needed, according to Ms. Glover. “We have commitments from area volunteers but more are needed to clean the city of Warren.”

Supplies will be provided by Trumbull Neighborhood Partnership, the City of Warren, and the Geauga-Trumbull SWMD – Trumbull Facility. In addition, lunch will be provided to volunteers at 1 PM by the Community Concerned Citizens ll organization, at Quinby Park’s shelter house.

WARREN CITY ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS MEETING

RE: Variance 22.08

The Warren City Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a meeting to discuss transitional housing for women and children in a residential area at 1401 Moncrest. The meeting will take place at 5:00 pm tomorrow August 24, 2022, at Warren City Council Chambers, 141 South Street SE, Warren, Ohio.
