Christmas Observed: Garbage Pickup Delay

December 15, 2017

City offices will be closed in observance of Christmas on Monday, December 25. Warren Municipal Court and City offices that conduct in-person business will also be closed Tuesday, December 26.

 

There will be no garbage collection on Monday, December 25. Routes will run Tuesday through Saturday that week. For refuse collection questions, contact the Environmental Services Department at (330) 841-2561.

Christmas Tree Recycling

December 14, 2017
City residents may dispose of their live Christmas trees at Bob's Tree Service, 1052 North River Road. Trees will be accepted between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, until February 1, 2018. All decorations, including tinsel, garland, popcorn, etc., must be removed prior to disposing. NO live trees will be picked up curbside.

Leaf Collection Schedule

October 10, 2017
Due to the early falling of leaves, the City of Warren’s leaf pick up will start on Monday, October 23, 2017 and run through Thursday, November 16, 2017. Residents wishing to have leaves removed prior to October 23 will be subject to the excessive pile charge as stipulated in Chapter 927 of the codified ordinances of the City of Warren.
 
As a reminder, all leaves and grass must be in biodegradable paper bags. ...

Diaper Bank Program

The Warren City Health District is now a Making Kids Count Diaper Bank site. Families who need diapers for their children and are struggling to purchase them can visit the Public Health Clinic and receive diapers free of charge.
