Park Maintenance Program

The Operations Department maintains 21 parks throughout the City of Warren. Area residents enjoy many activities at these parks, including baseball, softball, tennis, soccer, fishing, walking, running, little league football, and picknicking. Our responsibilities include:

  • Mowing hundreds of acres of grass
  • Preparing ball diamonds — drag, rake and line
  • Mowing islands
  • Repairing picnic tables
  • Stump removal and tree trimming

Facility Rentals

The Operations Department will also rent the Enclosed Shelter House at Packard Park, the Log Cabin located on Mahoning Ave., and the pavilions at both Perkins and Packard Park. Park pavilion locations are as follows:

 

At Packard Park:

  • Octagon  located behind Packard Music Hall
  • Tea Garden  located by the footbridge
  • Stone Shelter  located by the tennis courts

At Perkins Park:

  • #1 Perkins  North side of park
  • #2 Perkins  South side of park
  • Foster & Pendelton  by the Amphitheater

All Packard Shelter rentals must be made in person. Photo ID required. Accepted payments include cash, checks and money orders. For further information or to make a reservation, please contact the Operations Department Monday through Friday at (330) 841-2641. Rental is based upon availability.
