Refuse Collection Schedule and Rules

In order to best utilize the services of the Environmental Services Department, please refer to the following list of federal holidays that may affect your garbage pickup.


If you have service on or after the following holidays, your garbage pickup will be delayed by one day that week:


  • Martin Luther King, Jr., Day (January 16, 2017)
  • Memorial Day (May 29, 2017)
  • Independence Day (July 4, 2017)
  • Labor Day (September 4, 2016)
  • Thanksgiving (November 23, 2017)
  • Christmas (December 25, 2017)

During the week of the following holidays, garbage collection will not be delayed:


  • New Year's Day (January 1, 2017)
  • President's Day
  • Columbus Day
  • Veterans Day
  • Friday after Thanksgiving

Leaf Collection Schedule and Rules

The official curbside leaf collection season in the City of Warren will run from October 31 through December 2, 2016. Please do not leave leaf bags at the curb before or after these dates. Leaves will be collected in your area of the City according to the following schedule:


 Area of Residence  Leaves at Curb  Leaf Collection Day
 Northwest  Sunday Night  Monday
 Northeast  Monday Night  Tuesday
 Southeast  Tuesday Night  Wednesday
 Southwest  Thursday Night  Friday

Residents are welcome to bring leaves to the Water Pollution Control Department, 2323 Main Avenue S.W., between the hours of 7:30 AM and 2:30 PM from October through December 2015. For further information, please contact John Gennock at (330) 841-2757.
